Welcome
The Religious and Military Constantinian Order of Saint George (Italian: Sacro Militare Ordine Costantiniano di San Giorgio) – known in German as the Constantinorden, Konstantinorden, or Konstantinischer St. Georgsorden, abbreviated as S.M.O.C.S.G. – ranks among the oldest Catholic orders of chivalry in the world, founded in the spirit of the Christian faith and enduringly rooted in the life of the Church, in society, and in active charity.
The Order unites men and women who seek not merely to profess their faith, but to give it tangible expression through charitable endeavour, spiritual fellowship, and cultural engagement. As a historic Catholic order of chivalry with an international presence, it pursues its mission worldwide across charitable, spiritual, and cultural spheres.
In Germany, the Order’s work is directed by a national Royal Commission under the authority of the Grand Master, His Royal Highness Prince Pedro of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Duke of Calabria, Count of Caserta, and Grandee of Spain. The Commission maintains close relations with Church, state, and civil society, while preserving the Order’s historic legacy in a manner attuned to the present.
This website provides an overview of the history, structure, and activities of the Order, together with the work of this international community. It also offers historical, dynastic, and documentary background on the Order, including its legal status and dynastic continuity.
